WOW!!! I am a homeowner who has a Basement Systems Clean Space and several Dehumidifiers. I always felt part of my 3500 plus ranch still had a humidity problem, and my wife has a great nose for smells. I bought the Medic 90, knowing it was an April Air 95 pint. I installed in a part of my crawl where the other unit was operating nearly non stop. 90 minutes after turning on the moisture medic….. BOOM… they both shut off. I am more than impressed. The Moisture medic compared to the BS ” Santa Fee” is like racing a Corvette against a Corvair. NO CONTEST. And about half the price. I will be buying again….. for sure.

Very easy to set up. Excellent customer service. They contacted me several times to make sure all was ok. 4 stars to Morgan

I ordered two dehumidifiers. Both arrived in two days, and each took about one hour to install. Basically level it, hook up drainage hose, and turn it on. I went from 80% to 50% humidity in in about 12 hours. Cannot comment on longevity yet, so I only give it three stars. My last dehumidifiers lasted eight years. Let’s see how these do.

The Moisture Medic is a great machine for an even better price with a five year guarantee. I had another brand “blow” the mother board during a power surge. The warrantee means a lot.
Crawl space users, ensure your drain hole through your house’s foundation is horizontally lower than the total distance from the top of the unit to the unit’s gravity-fed drain plug. I ended up with no space between the house’s floor (above the unit) and the top of the unit.

This Moisture Medic is the perfect unit for our crawlspace projects. We seal and insulate crawlspaces, using closed cell spray foam, & 20 mil poly. We set these units under the house to manage the Relative Humidity… And they are perfect. So far, I’ve installed three of these. I use the Aprilaire 1850 for whole house set-ups, and this Moisture Medic appears to basically be the same unit, with less features that aren’t needed.

I installed the 90 pt. unit in my crawl space after completely sealing the space. The humidity and moisture in the crawl space was so severe, the floors in the house had buckled, and floor joists were dripping with water. Had to replace 40 of them due to rot. I used 10′ of flex duct as recommended on intake and output to insure air movement throughout the crawl space which is approx. 25oo sq. ft. When I started the unit, the rh was 89%. The next day it had dropped 10% and by the end of the second day, was down to 65% rh. I have it set for 50% rh and have no doubt it will reach that in the next day or so. It is extremely quiet and can not be heard in the house. I purchased the optional liberty condensate pump and the optional hanger system and was very glad I did. The installation was simple, 4 bolts into the floor joists and a level is all you need. I tapped a barbed fitting into the waste drain pipe under the house and the condensate pump, pumps directly to the waste line. I left a dip in the condensate pump line to retain water at all times and avoid sewer gas from the septic system. I am extremely satisfied with this unit and would highly recommend it to anyone with moisture problems. I had tried everything including foundation power vents, placing high capacity air movers in the crawl space, etc. and nothing worked. It just moved the humidity in under the house from outside. I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and summers here are very humid. I can’t say much about longevity as it has only been in place a few days, but quality seems very good for the money and buying direct saved me a lot. I wish I had taken this route to solving the problem years ago. It would saved me a ton of aggravation, time, and money in repairs. I also could not believe how fast the shipping was. All three packages came the same time within a couple of days of ordering! Arrived by UPS in excellent condition.

I researched and found this product after having a miserable experience with a competitive product. I needed to control the moisture in a 2000 sq ft basement. Since installing the moisture level is down to range and the odors are totally gone.

We’ve had a moisture problem in our 2,000 sq. ft. crawlspace for a long time and it’s been getting worse – consistently over 75%. The Moisture Medic – 90 pint unit quickly brought it down to 50% and keeps it there – with very little noise in operation. We are almost right above it when it’s operating and can barely hear it run. Plus, it’s been very economical – adding little to the monthly utility bill. All in all, an excellent choice.

Based on recommendation from our crawl space contractor, I purchased this unit direct from the company. The contractor installed the replacement unit with my limited assistance. The previous unit was 7 years old and was no longer dehumidifying. This 90 pint unit has functioned great so far and has greatly reduced humidity in our crawl space. The unit is more compact than previous unit and will hope that things continue on this very good start. Great part- cost was a good bit less than replacing the old unit!

Folks here seem easy to talk with. Unit was very very simple to put in and hook up. Works good so far . Time will tell results as long Gevity . seems keep my 2000 ft crawspace at 55% easy. Did lay vaper barrier first. Will have to work harder to keep at like 53% or lower. One note where I have the unit 4 inches off the ground on blocks and the unit it says 55% my reading at floor joist level is 47%. So I have it set at humidity and always stay below at floor level. Set at 58% the unit will run until reading od so keep in mind.

I was impressed with looks of the unit and it’s operating system. Once installed, it quickly reduced moisture in my crawl space. Cost for the unit was best that I could find for such units, and also its capability (air flow and 90 pints). I also had purchased 8620W controller, although I could not get much descriptive info from the company about its function before hand. I wanted WIFI control on the unit, but it turns out that this is a thermostat that attaches and then controls. I returned it OK (but there are restrictions and costs around returns I had noted in other reviews so be aware).

The Mositure Medic 90 is a well built unit and Crawl Space Repair.com has it for a great price. I have owned and operated the unit for a little over two months and my crawl space humidity level stays at a constant 55%.

Purchased the 90 pint dehumidifier and pump. Wood moisture readings previous to encapsulation were 18-25% with humidity readings of 80-85% . Wood readings post encapsulation are now as low as 6% some places and cant find a reading over 15% anywhere. Humidity is now steady at 53% with the dehumidifier cycling on and off. Highly recommend the fan kit to improve dehumidifier efficiency as my 90 pint is on the edge for my 2400 square feet crawlspace but it seems to be working well and cycling on and off instead of running constantly. Great product!

Item was priced reasonably, compared to two other units that have failed in less than 2 years. Adam was shipped quickly and arrived in good condition. Set up was easy. Warranty for 5 years is the best.
