I’ve only had this in operation for a month but it so far is working as designed. It was easy to install. It would have been nice if it came with a couple small hose clamps. They may not be necessary but I added them for extra piece of mind that the hose won’t pop off and spill condensate in my crawlspace.

Pump works excellent. Not one bit of trouble

Shipment was fast! The quality of everything was amazing! The dehumidifier came damaged from UPS but it was replaced in just a few day. After the encapsulation of my crawlspace the humidity went from 85% to 55%. I would highly recommend crawlspacerepairs.com.

Works great with the best humidifier on the planet….the Moisture Medic.

i purchased the Liberty Pump with the dehumidifier as I knew drainage would be an issue in my very limited crawl space. After mounting the dehumidifier from the floor joist, there would not have been enough fall to adequately drain away the condensation and get it to the outside of the foundation. Instead, I tapped a drain line under the house, installed a barb fitting, and ran the output line from the pump to the drain, leaving a loop in the line to maintain water and avoid sewer gas back up. It works perfectly. The pump sits under the dehumidifier with a short drain hose directly to the pump. The pump comes on automatically and runs for about 1-2 seconds and pumps away the condensation from the dehumidifier. I am very pleased with this set up, the crawl space is now at 50% rh, and I don’t have to worry about any of it. I would highly recommend this pump for it’s simplicity of operation and efficiency. It made my dehumidifier installation possible in a very challenging crawl space.

The condensation Pump was a must for me, as I needed to run it’s condensate over to a tap I made in the condensation line which carries AC water out from under the crawlspace. I bought the pump along with the Moisture Medic and AprilAire hang kit. The Liberty pump comes with about a 20 foot run of condensation hose. It also has a couple wires running off it which you will hook up to the DH as to hopefully shut down the DH preventing a water overflow should there be a pump malfunction. Since the wires aren’t long enough for the length you’ll need, I first added a couple quick disconnects and ran additional wire from there. . From a 24 x 24 inch piece of plywood, I made like a U bracket to attach the condensation pump and independently suspended it near the DH. I suspended it from a floor joist. Perhaps not the best idea, since I can now hear it go on and off from up in the living area. It’s recommended that you also add and suspend about 10 feet of 8 inch insulated ductwork to both the inlet and outlet (Duck Collars) of the DH heading in oppose directions for better circulation and quietness. Working in a confided area with only a 30 inch height, I found it much easier to first attach the ductwork to the Duct Collars before bringing it down under and fixing it to the DH. To suspend the Ductwork, you can buy a small roll of 2 inch webbing from your local Lowe’s. With the Ductwork, the Moisture Medic is very quiet. I cannot hear it at all from up in the living quarters. Question- would it be easier with a helper? Perhaps, if one had done it before, Else, in tight quarters, you could end up in one another’s way. I gave it all five stars. But really, it’s a rather short time to make that determination.

It’s really too soon for me to judge much on durability or quality, but this little thing sure can pump. We’ve got it going up a bit of incline and through about 40′ of tube with no problems. So far, I’m very satisfied.
