Crawl Space Encapsulation Midland Michigan

One of our more recently completed projects was a complete crawl space encapsulation in the town of Midland Michigan. This particular customer had done extensive research on both our company and our installation methods that we use during the process of crawl space sealing and conditioning. As important as the use of high quality materials, the knowledge and experience to complete a proper installation also plays an important roll. This customer was well aware of the quality workmanship and materials that were to be used during the installation of the families new conditioned crawl space before he called for a quote.

Upon our inspection, Fix My Crawl recommended the installation of a Instadry Sump System™, a Compact Air Plus™ dehumidifier, and of course our SilverBack™ vapor barrier system. After installation of the drainage system and closing all the outside vents with cement blocks, we set forth with the crawl space encapsulation system. This customer was well aware that a dehumidifier was necessary to ensure that the excessive moisture problem was completely solved.

After the installation was complete this home is now more energy efficient, the indoor air quality has improved dramatically, and the harmful effects high humidity are a thing of the past. The possibility of the crawl space filling with water is also guarded against with the installation of the drainage system and monitored by the water alarm.
